PHYLLIS BENNIS is a fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington and a Fellow of the Transnational Institute in Amsterdam, Holland.
She is the author of many books including CHALLENGING EMPIRE: How People, Governments and the UN Defy U.S. Power, and UNDERSTANDING THE PALESTINIAN- ISRAELI CONFLICT.
She also wrote IRAN IN THE CROSSHAIRS: HOW TO PREVENT WASHINGTON'S NEXT WAR.
In "Inside Israel-Palestine - The Conflict Explained" Bennis draws on her long experience as a Middle East analyst to answer basic questions about Israel and Israelis, Palestine and Palestinians, the U.S. and the Middle East, Zionism and anti-Semitism, issues arising from the Oslo Peace Process, and the election of Hamas.
